Survival guides: what to do in an emergency
Plain steps for 13 emergencies, from a house fire to a volcano, plus a go bag checklist. Each page starts with what to do right now, then the warning signs, a true story and how to get ready. Every step comes from official sources such as Ready.gov (FEMA), the National Weather Service, the CDC and the USGS, and every page lists its sources.
